Posted on Jan 02, If the lever is in the ‘A’ position, the lens will stay wide open until you trip the control lever at the back of the lens next to the rear optics. In the ‘M’ setting, you can see the aperture move as you change the f-stop setting on the ring. Set the lens to anything but wide open and move the control lever with your finger. You should see that aperture move. Posted on Jan 14, Posted on Dec 06, Click “Add” to insert your video.

SOLVED: I need repair manuals for MAMIYA RB 6×7 ProS: – Fixya

The lug nuts are pri inside. If they are broken off, the camera need to be opened and repaired. That can get quite expensive. You can go on line and get prices via E-mail. You may be able to give it to a camera store, but most likely they will just ship it to a repair facility. An with pros leaving film far behind, hopefully parts are still available.

Need servicing from the service center. Bring your camera to a camera shop and see if they have a box of old parts to replace it with. You can either use a regular round knob, or if you’re lucky one with a crank on it.

Set the floating element ring to its’ infinity position if you are using extension tubes, this will vary and you must set according to the tubes. Focus the camera on your subject. Look at the bellows scale on the camera body it will generally range from Important: Don’t read the scale akin to the lens you are using.

This will make perfect sense, when you examine the bellows. Mentally record this number. Adjust the floating element ring to the recorded number. Leave the ring on this new setting and re-focus the camera on your subject. Make sure the dark slide is removed and capture your photograph. Not so foreboding, when you. I cocked the shutter and fired it. Now I can’t recock shutter and I can’t get the lens off. The lens blades are closed. Hi RMT, I sueest you only one thing. Please visit the service center.

So please follow the link its really very helpful for you. What am I doing wrong? I can’t close the lock ring.

You might have an earlier rb pro S not pro sd version. The later pro sd lenses have a larger diameter rear element. The rb67prosd extension yube is clearly marked pro sd the older version just has- mamiya no.

Problem solved- The camera does not operate correctly unless the battery is in good condition, in place, and all the contacts are clean.

In the RZ76 as opposed to the old RB models the components “talk” to each other: The back “tells” the camera bod if the dark slide ins in or out and whether the film is loaded or at the end of the roll.

If the batter voltage is too low or the contacts are no clean and making full contact the body has no way of knowing the condition of the film backs and the interlocking mechanisms fail to work. What I did was fepair test the battery under load and discovered that the cell was a bit low. Mamya was a fresh battery but it is a good idea to turn the camera off after shooting in case the is a slight current draw when the camera is idle?

I replaced the battery and traced the voltages through the body to see if it was getting to some of the contacts such as the onces on the meter prism which has LEDs to be lighted.

I also used an ohm meter to check out continuity- everything seemed to be in order. Repait then cleaned all the contacts including the battery terminals withl alcohol and made sure everything was dry and clean.

The camera was turned off overnight and the battery has lost no voltage when tested under load. This camera is equipped with RB lenses which have no electrical contacts and therefore the camera and lenses can’t “communicate” so the meter will not work with theses older lenses. When I put it in multi-exposure mode, the door opens, allowing me to fire.

Is this my problem: I’ve reset the lens, tried pulling the dark slide out etc. It wont fire either. Am I missing something apart from taking the thing apart or going back to the shop?
